If My Brother is in Trouble,
So Am I
Hey boys and girls!
This is your boy Lil Johnny coming at you again with a quick encouragement. Oftentimes, when we see children our age going through, feeling down or having a bad day, we either ignore it, laugh or show no concern. Some would rather not get involved because they don't want to take on the pain that the person is experiencing.
But my message today, boys and girls, is HAVE A HEART. You never know. You may be saving a life. You probably can say something to lift that person's spirit so they can have a great day.
You probably can turn their frown into a smile. You just don't know how much of an impact you may have on your friends or classmates. So the next time you see someone going through, or maybe their head is hung down... have a heart.
Show some love and concern. You never know, you may need that same person to lift you up one day. People remember how you treat them when they are going through.
Have a HEART
Each day we need the help of the Holy Spirit to handle every situation we encounter.
“Brethren,I do not count myself to have apprehended, but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind & reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ.”
Philippians 3: 13-14
As Paul, we too, must continue to press forward. Let's continue daily to renew our minds having the mind of Christ & live in obedience to the Word of God by His Spirit. Even in our wilderness and desert places, He will make a way if we continue to move forward trusting Him to work all things out for our good and His glory in His timing. Our God is faithful to His promises. We must speak in agreement with His Word, believe and live it. God has the perfect plan for us. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope."
Let's keep it moving, no matter what, God knows the end of everything at the beginning.
He is in control and we must trust Him to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think according to the power that works with in us. We must put our faith into action.
It’s that simple.
